Abstract
The concept of sustainability has several aspects, however, perhaps due to misfortune or lack of understanding, it still looks like a mere utopia. However, it represents a conduct, a lifestyle, which seeks to align human practices in symmetry with each biome, enabling all beings to be able to live and remain in nature. Its objective is to provide the continuation of environmental resources that guarantee the life and balance of the Earth. The Amazon is a primordial nucleus, with regard to the balance of the ecosystem and the supply of natural resources to humanity. However, since agribusiness has intensified in Brazil, a full measure of environmental protection has not yet been regularized. This study aims to highlight the importance of a structural sustainability policy, through an analysis of the impacts of degradation in the Amazon, emphasizing the proximity of the risk of non-return of regeneration environmental.
