Abstract
high added value, forming part of the circular economy, eliminating the liability that accumulates in landfills, returning to the soil as essential nutrients. The present study approaches the comparison between the two types of disposal of industrial residues from the tanning process, bringing information about quantity and cost for each of these, and finally, demonstrating the positive impact both in the value of the final disposal and in the environmental gain. As a result, there was a considerable reduction in landfill disposal, allowing a reduction of approximately 42 thousand reais in twelve months of disposal, in addition to generating more than 300 tons of fertilizer, with 440 tons of waste from the survey of this window.
