Abstract
ABSTRACT
The arrival of the technological and digital era and the increasing exchange of information impacts society and the environment. Rapid changes lead to socioeconomic and cultural imbalances, which leads us to the need to rethink paradigms and seek sustainable development based on economic, social and environmental pillars. This article aims to analyze how the State of Paraná is inserted in the context of the 2030 Agenda related to Maternal and Child Mortality rates aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). The main objective is to evaluate the progress of these SDG indicators in Paraná with the support of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), aiming to guide public policies for sustainable development and thus recognize that the implementation of the SDGs is a continuous process, but also demonstrates that the intersection between technology, governance and public administration can provide contributions to academia and professional practice, aiming to improve the quality of life and the consequent evolution of innovation and sustainability rates at local and regional levels. The final considerations highlight future lines of investigation and the bibliographic references that support the theoretical framework of this article.
