RELATÓRIOS DE SUSTENTABILIDADE NAS ORGANIZAÇÕES E INDICADORES DE DESEMPENHO SUSTAINABILITY REPORTS IN ORGANIZATIONS AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Abstract

This work aimed to develop a proposal for sustainability reports for implementation in organizations, as a way of contributing to environmental management by incorporating them into the internal and external controls already existing in companies. The characterization of the study of this work was research in the form of an exploratory case study, where two companies were analyzed at national level, one in the food sector (BUNGE) and the other in the paper and cellulose area (SUZANO). The research aims to encourage organizations to prepare sustainability reports, which contribute to the sustainable development of the business environment. The work proposal was made based on the selection of 17 environmental performance indicators, proposed in the GRI Booklet. These indicators are considered in this research as essential for identifying the environmental aspects of organizations.
