COLOR REMOVAL FROM TEXTILE DYES MIXING WITH PHOTOREDUCTIVE TREATMENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Remediation of the mixture of the textile dyes (C.I. Disperse Red 60; C.I. Direct Yellow 162 e C.I. Direct Orange 39) by reductive process (Na2SO3) under ultraviolet radiation (254 nm) in a recirculating photoreactor; was investigated in this study. The effects of operational parameters, such as: sulfite concentration, pH values and treatment time were experienced with a focus on removing the color. The best conditions selected in this study were: Higher percentage of color removal (410 nm absorbance) in the mixture of textile dyes 30% and turbidity was 90%¨using 1.0 mmol L-1 of sodium sulfite at pH 3.0 during 120 minutes of treatment.
