Abstract

The relationship between human being and the environment throughout history has been the subject of discussions, resulting in severe changes in the conditions of the planet, affecting biodiversity. Severe environmental impacts have its origins in deforestation and the use of biotechnology as a working tool, emerges as being of great importance in environmental matters. Seeing that natural regeneration is slow, this work aims to show the possibility of accelerating the recovery of a biome with the use of biotechnology and with low cost, making a forest recovery project viable.
