Abstract

The Brazilian Journal of Environment & Sustainability was born with a purpose, to seek, through scientific knowledge and the appropriation of popular knowledge, to provide harmonious, balanced and more sustainable development, from all points of view. Seeking in a horizontal way to receive content and knowledge from different origins and influences, with the intention of fostering, strengthening and expanding the technical, academic and scientific debate about our environments, from the natural, physical and biological, to artificial environments built by societies , the social and cultural aspects and impacts, analyzing and evaluating the actions taken and proposing new alternatives for a more sustainable development.
