Abstract

Society has expanded its demands for practically all types of products and services. This demand has significantly affected the consumption of natural resources and increased the generation and emissions of greenhouse gases. One of the great contemporary dilemmas is the climate changes produced in recent years, a good part of them due to the consumption of fossil fuels, extractive explorations and impacts with pollution at different levels and aspects.
The human being is present in all these actions, presenting a strong ecological footprint, which needs an adequate review, as evolution and new technologies have provided new means of production, comfort and stability in various fields of knowledge and in different human activities.
