GREENHOUSE IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR SMALL PROPERTIES AS A SUSTAINABLE AND ECONOMIC ALTERNATIVE

Abstract
The reality of the rural producer considers that the production processes each year grow and evolve and, if prepared, they will have better conditions to maximize their profit in view of the alternatives that are proposed for the production of vegetables through irrigation in greenhouses. The objective of the study is to analyze how the forms of technological adaptation are used in the greenhouse irrigation process in small agricultural properties in a sustainable and economical way for the production of vegetables. As a theoretical framework, topics on agriculture 4.0, family management and financial planning were addressed. As for the methodological aspect, the study included small producers from small towns in the western region of the State of Paraná, with application of 50 interviews via WhatsApp and Messenger. The main findings show that only 22% of producers understand irrigation systems as a form of more conscious administration, 34% mention that financial resources are one of the main difficulties in the production system, 26% have access to some type of means of technological application. Among the products, 50% is responsible for managing the property and up to 3 people live on site (42%). On the other hand, 42% mention that increased productivity is one of the main benefits of implementing the technology in irrigation systems and 52% would like to have access to an application that would help in this type of system.
