Abstract

ABSTRACT

The devices for the operationalization through the management of solid waste are of worldwide interest. This study aims to analyze the management variables, through information from companies linked to solid waste in the State of São Paulo (CETESB). A descriptive study of the operationalization of solid waste data, registered with the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (CETESB), was carried out. The information bank was studied from January 1 to December 31, 2023. The in-depth analysis, through the reading of Household Solid Waste between the years 2003 and 2022. The analysis and processing of the data of this study was done through a notification form of each case at CETESB. This was printed, reviewed and re-entered into another database using the LABrisco software. The descriptive analysis of the data will be done by means of proportion, mean, standard deviation, median and minimum and maximum values. To evaluate the association between some parameters, the chi-square test of association will be used. To correct these problems, in 2005 the department of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo was created to implement the procedures for the analysis and evaluation of risk management, with which it contributes to the modernization, competitiveness, and quality of the products. Thus, it generates a social and economic progress of the country.
