Abstract
ABSTRACT
The rise in sea levels in the context of climate change has been identified as one of the factors promoting the need for adaptation measures, both structural and non-structural, as is the case in the municipality of Tijucas in the state of Santa Catarina, in the south. from Brazil. The objective is to identify the history of disaster recurrence, the sectorization of affected areas, as well as the characterization of social vulnerability, and subsequently integrate the analysis of the resilience of affected communities using the Flood Resilience Measurement Communities (FRMC) methodology. The methodology will search the disaster information system (S2ID) for socioeconomic data and disaster recurrence data in the municipality of Tijucas, which characterize the level of vulnerability of affected communities, which will later be used to establish a resilience assessment protocol for communities affected by floods with structural and non-structural measures guidelines.
