Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigated sustainability practices at the Center for Selection Processes (CEPS) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), with the aim of identifying challenges and opportunities to improve environmental management in the sector. The research, of a descriptive and qualitative-quantitative nature, used a case study and involved the application of questionnaires to CEPS employees. The results revealed a significant lack of knowledge about the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration (A3P) among employees, despite UFPA seeking to align its activities with the principles of sustainable development. The need for greater institutionalization of sustainable practices was identified, especially with regard to waste management, resource use, infrastructure and employee engagement.
