In the civil construction industry, there are several challenges related to supply chain management and tracking, such as the lack of transparency, difficulties in ensuring the origin and quality of critical materials, waste of resources, and, consequently, delays in schedules and financial losses. To address this issue, a case study was conducted emphasizing the application of a simulation platform based on Blockchain technology –an innovation that guarantees a unique, reliable, and immutable digital record. The platform details the entire operational flow, where each stage (production, transportation, reception, and quality control) is recorded in secure and auditable data blocks in the cloud. The proposed model aims to efficiently optimize logistics processes, reduce waste, mitigate fraud, ensure compliance with technical specifications, and increase trust and transparency among all stakeholders involved in the process. It is concluded that, despite the challenges encountered, the adoption of this technology represents a major opportunity to modernize the sector, promoting smarter control and tracking of materials.
