Abstract
Governmental sustainability in the Public Sector projected in the production of goods and services is one of the premises for achieving sustainable development. Articulations formed by public institutions are indispensable for carrying out institutional planning for implementing sustainability in the various sectors. Environmental performance indicators can serve as a model for other institutions, causing a positive impact, as a form of continuous action for the execution of initiatives, with a focus on sustainability. The objective of this study was to analyze the environmental performance indicators of the Ecos de Pernambuco Committee's Social and Environmental Planning through the concepts related to the Triple Bottom Line, which uses the economic, environmental and social dimensions and the methodology of the Balanced Scorecard. The study was approached in a descriptive and analytical way, through a logical sequencing of bibliographic and field research. From the discussion on the articulation of public bodies that aim to operationalize government sustainability in local actions, global goals can be achieved, defined by the United Nations with the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It was noticed that the averages of the modules indicated a greater applicability approximation in the environmental sphere, and in the social and economic spheres they presented lower percentages of applicability, but in balance with each other. Hears an alignment of objectives and indicators in the areas of activity: education, research, internal management and external visibility.
