IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ON THE MUNICIPAL EDUCATION OF JACIARA MT: AN ANALYSIS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ECOLOGY

Abstract
The present work approaches several environmental ecological situations in the region of Jaciara MT. In order to obtain greater profit, the agricultural and livestock sector has acted aggressively towards nature, without taking into account the damage caused to it, where the city's population also ends up being a co-author of this predatory system. With the hope that the world still has a way, the path of education is one of the most successful as a tool for rebuilding an ecologically healthy environment. Based on this statement, a project was organized based on the education of the population, prioritizing young people and student children as it is easier to gather in classrooms with the collaboration of schools and the ecological entity of the municipality of Jaciara, AEMA, Ecological and Environmental Association. Using audio visual resources with videos and lectures on the proposed problematic where the environmental reality we live in is presented and also showing the world we want, raising awareness of not using products with packaging and disposable plastic bags, but the use of large bags and returnable containers, avoiding the production of new waste, creating a spirit of indignation in students towards the ecological reality. The method used for the development of this work is exploratory, in which the population in focus will be students and teachers of primary and secondary education in public schools in Jaciara MT. In the beginning, the work began in the classrooms of municipal schools and at the headquarters of AEMA, Associação Ecológica Meio Ambientalista. Finally, the impact generated by environmental education on communities and on the urban and rural environment of the municipality of Jaciara-MT is discussed.
